A Jackson Pollock Friday
Who wants to waste a steamy Friday using brain power and checking off tasks when you can be Jackson Pollock for a day? I discovered my inner artist at Write Procrastinator’s spot, and have thus far wasted 15 corporate minutes painting my own Pollock. [Hint: Click your mouse to change colors on the canvas.] Go forth and create, dear readers … and check back this weekend.

artistic expression is a dangerous thing - next thing you know you'll be trying to expand your consciousness and broadening your horizons.
I think the President doesn't like it when you do that.
He may send "the man" to get you.
So funny - you do the artsy Jackson Pollock post and I do one of creating a cartoon image of yourself... art vs. girly-girl... which do you prefer? :)
Okay, like I NEEDED another way to stress my wrist when I'm trying to get this website together. Fun, though, isn't it?
Cool!
"never knew i was so darn abstractly talented."
You see? You didn't have to take the mail-in course where you draw "Inky," the pirate, or the turtle, after all.
I can't thank you enough for the Pollock link, I'll have hours of fun with it.
Hi Beth!
Thanks for your comment on "Fugitive Kitty." I'm not posting it though becasue of a complicated situation at work - I don't want my work colleague (who owns the cat) seeing the comment and then somehow linking back to my regular blog, CPW.... which is not the kind of blog I want work people reading.
But I wanted to acknowledge the comment rather than just ignore it!
We love the Fugitive Kitty and are going to be very sad when we have to surrender her.
I also love R.E.M. and will look forward to checking out your blog more!

I love that Jackson Pollock site- that is good fun!
KEITH: That damn The Man is always taking away our fun toys, isn't he?
MARNI: Take a guess. But I did build a cute li'l cartoon me.
PATRICK: No telling what's in there as we scratch your surface.
RENAE: You need a break. Your work is better, though. Not that I'm biased or anything ...
OLD LADY: And groovy!
WRITE PROCRASTINATOR: But I love drawing Inky ...
MOB: Fun away.
COASTER PUNCHMAN: Understood. I'm a little distraught right now because I found a couple of my coworkers have Googled their way here. Ugh. I'll be back to peek at Fugitive Kitty, though.
SHROOM-MONKEY: Go forth and create!
Beth, my daughter (age 2) can't get enough of the Pollock-y goodness.
DJ, that's so cool! Maybe one day she'll be a famous artist and will attribute her start to my blog link (I'll grab whatever glory I can get).
