my virtual disappearance during the last week — scant posts, scant visits to your blogs. It's just been one of those weeks. I should be back in a day or two.

I've had the word "scant" running through my brain for several days.

I hope it's because you've rented a moon bounce for the last week and there are no kids getting in your way. Or better yet, they're all sitting outside, waiting for turns that will never come.

Of course, if you were me, it merely meant you visited relatives and they still live in the 1970s ...
This morning I had a dream about going on a trip with you and several other bloggers - I think mellowlee was one of them. Your hair was much frizzier and grayer than I believe it to be in real life. In any event you were very friendly and fun and had a bunch of us bloggers over to hang out. Your house had this very retro 70s kitchen with two electric ranges and refrigerators in funky shades of green that eerily resemble your blog, come to think of it...
I too am having a Week. God, I hate Weeks.
