Who's Gonna Mess with My Stuff Now?
Grief is becoming part of my week. First I mourn the death of the Green Monkey Music Project, then the great, Nudie-suited Porter Wagoner, and now I find we've lost Robert Goulet, too. Let's mourn his passing in style by viewing his last great role:
Who's going to be my excuse now for messing with my stuff? Pistols at Dawn or Grant Miller might work — but I don't know if either gent can soft-shoe it like Robert could.

Nice!
I liked the ads he used to do for ESPN for the NCAA tournament.
NOOOOO! Not Goulet! Damn it, now Will Ferrell will shelve this impression out of respect, just like Harry Caray. Now I'm sad, and I've got a screenplay that will really never get made.
Goulet!
That sucks. Now that album of rap covers will never come to fruition. Why do we let these hooligans tear down the biz? Yeah.
I am sad too. But I think he could still mess with our stuff in spirit, you know, turn into this singing ghost that shuffles all your papers around.
If it is up on You Tube, everyone should really check out his superior version of "Green Tambourine" that he did for "Recess, The Movie."
I remember watching "TV Funhouse" on Comedy Central and I couldn't believe how at ease he was at making fun of himself and his wonderful sense of humor.
I'm with Moxie!
I know...I'll miss him.
And that is so cool that you mentioned Nudie Cohen! Johnny Yen had a picture of Elvis in his Nudie gold lame suit, and I was just getting ready to post a piece about him.
A friend of mine met him years ago when Bob was in his late 50's and my friend said Bob was cut to the max. You could have bounced a quarter off his abs and it would have knock you out it if hit you.
I can tango.
I did enjoy how Goulet was in on the joke. I think it was also cool that the producers of the "Naked Gun" movies cast him opposite Priscilla Presley (who's ex husband hated Goulet) in the 2nd film of the series.
