I sent that out to everyone I know the other day. How hilarious is that?!
Isn't it brilliant? I got it twice last week, and decided that it deserved a post.
Why is it they do all the fun stuff after I get out?!
They had to come up with something to fill those dreary, gray days sans Dale.
I was wondering why you deleted this!
Glad to see it is back up.
I thought you might have been contacted by the Filipino penal system (that's hard to say!).
Nah, the original file was too big for my blog page and knocked down the nav bar; finally found a good version.
"Penal" always makes me giggle.
This is so wrong for so many reasons. I cannot imagine the kind of abuse that was used to get this done. Also, the guy in drag must be very popular.
It's fascinating what becomes an internet sensation and what doesn't. I like YouTube because I feel that it finds a common ground between, shall we say, the masses and those who claim to prefer "high art." Because, seriously, this is something everyone can enjoy.
Damn our ban against cruel and unusual punishment, damn it all the Hell!
wow i guess thats one way of rehabilitation.
I'm guessing that a reenactment of the "Beat It" video would be out of the question given the venue.
is that the greatest find on the planet or what. when guthy sent that to me, I was on the floor. I can't stop watching it.
MICHAEL K: I'd love to find the back story, to see who came up with the idea. I hope it was the inmates' idea.
NEW AND USED RECORDS: Who can't enjoy it? I think it's lovely.
JKIRLLIN: Welcome to my page!
GRANT MILLER: At least it's not the dullest story ever told.
DINO AKA KATY: And exercise.
CHELENE: Snort! Biggest laugh I've had all day, girl!
JEWGIRL: It's beyond fab, doll. And it never gets boring.
Genius. Thanks for posting!
bahaha. I saw that too.
I love how they have an inmate dressed as a girl.
This must keep the inmates happy.
they should perform at the next Super Bowl
Awww, inmates always get to do all the fun stuff!
Yay!! I loved it. I now feel somewhat less dorky cause I'm not the only one that knows how to do the full "Thriller" dance. On an article today in the Wash Post, I read that it's part of the prison exercise routine to make the inmates feel "human" again and have some fun.
That's one of the greatest things I've ever seen. Our prisoners are a bunch of no talent hacks.
Oh.My.God. I love the internet.
Next, Warden say his daughter want us do Billy Jean by Tuesday.
I want to know the backstory, too. Like how did they pick which inmates were Michael and the girl? Are they going to be inside the longest so they got the privilege of being the stars?
This video is so hilarious without sound. I don't want to ruin it by putting the volume back on :)
Hi Beth - I tried to leave a comment for you a few days ago but it wouldn't let me, for some reason -maybe you have a built in "silly-comment reject" mechanism? ;). Had any luck trying to get a copy of the Michael Palin Diaries as yet?
Michael Palin Diaries? I want that
Love it! Don't they look kinder and gentler than our general prison population, even while they are playing monsters? :)
A: A Filipino prison.
Or...was your question a rhetorical one?
I think you need to send this to Michael Jackson so he can use these guys for his choreography the next time he has a hit video. It would save him some money and I think he needs to keep as much of it as he can.
I love You Tube myself. Interesting stuff on there.
