I'm purple so I can't vote tomorry. I don't even know if I can vote in NY.
I actually need to get my shit together for the big election in November. I don't know how all this works...I'm registered in PA but now I'm living in NY and I'm so lazy that I never bothered looking into it before. I didn't think I'd need to worry about it so soon but time flies.
I will most certainly casting my vote tomorrow. We are one step closer to a better America.

Way to go exercising yinz' right to vote. I have no idea when PA votes... I think it's at least 2 months away. I look forward to the day when all states hold their primaries on the same day, so all states have equal voting power!
It turns out that I'm the best person to represent my views. However, even I wouldn't vote for me, so I'm free to stay at home and nap.
This year I'm voting in the lobby of a hospital. One year I voted in someone's garage. Southern CA is very weird with its choice of polling places.
Beckeye - you cannot vote today in NY if you have not registered at your local Board of Elections. They would be very amused if you showed up and told them you were registered in PA, though. Also, you must register soon (not sure when the cut-off is) or you will not be able to vote in November. Now get off your ass and do it!

Fascinating. I took both and found similar answers ... even though I think the characterizations of the candidates' views are missing some nuance. Fun anyway!

I took the quizes and both recomended McCain. I think the quiz is based on what Mccain says he will do, and those of us who follow him closely know he rarely does what he says. You can get the same amount of straight talk at a gay bar as you will from McCain. I will never vote for him.
I took the quiz, just as I suspected, there IS NO candidate that matches up with my views, good thing I was too sick to go vote.

I always come out libertarian on those quizzes. I like being the oddball independent, though.
I predict Mix Tape Friday is about political songs. Am I right? Don't change it just because I was! How about winners and losers? I'd create my own blog, but I really don't have anything to say. I'm only good at making smart alecky remarks.
*sigh* How can I vote when I don't like any of the candidates and the policies they have? I've lost faith. Maybe someone in the blogging wilderness will run that I can support.
