Dreams They Complicate My Life
Haahnster, my new favorite blogger (well, he's not new to blogging, but I'm new to reading his page), has a great post on R.E.M.'s Green. He's definitely worth the click, so "Get Up" and head on over there.
If you can't get enough of the Athens music scene, don't miss Dale's I'm Not No Limburger (one of the greatest song lyrics ever), or Savage Distortion's Talk About the Passion. And longtime fave Scrivener is mastering Neutral Milk Hotel (and he's definitely on the way to becoming one of the coolest people on the whole frickin' planet).

You can't bang out long interesting posts EVERY day patrick, or at least I can't so I assume others can't:P
Besides, any post that name drops Neutral Milk Hotel is ok in my book, I still listen to two headed boy usually at least once a day.
ps- How did you like Cloud Cult, am I way off the mark on them and lose all credibility?
PATRICK: Sorry, but the writing portion of my brain has been working on something else. And, well, I'm being damn lazy during this four-day break.
BILL: Thank you for defending my (lack of) blogging honor. I've been back to your page every day, but keep forgetting to tell you that I LOVE Cloud Cult; cridibility is riding high! My particular favorite is "Happy Hippo," probably because of the Neil Young homage -- but I'm really enjoying the entire album. Off to catch up on your page ...
I'm Not No Limburger? Someone I can relate to. I am the #1 B-52's fan. In fact, when I was in highschool I watched them on Saturday night live and loved them immediately. My parents watched from the other room and when I said I wanted to buy the album, my mother said I was not allowed to waste my money. Well of course I went out and bought it immediately. As soon as I got my grades and they were good, my mother told me I could buy the B-52's album and I said I already had it. I got grounded. Can you believe that?
Lord I have seen them I bet 10 times. They are great every time. Much better when Cindy is with them, but I'll take them however I can get them.
I had to jump in here. I am a fairly faithful Athens fan, but I love my B's. You should have seen me and my grade school friend recently belt out the B-52's at my pajama karaoke party. We had people on the floor. I think it was our trancy dance.
DJ Andi, you and I are going to get along just fine. These are the stories I expect to read on your blog.
Beth,
Thank you much for the compliment and the link. I linked you back, you're just under Gian Carlucci and the links aren't in order of "favorites" (other than the Missus).
