Facebook pulled me away. I'm now pulling away from Facebook and coming back to where it all started.

Everyone loves The Chin! That is badass! Way to go Dan!
Thanks for reminding me about this one. (Don't you love how I have to subtly point out that I knew about this video ages ago? I'm shameless, really.)Bruce Campbell is a GOD!
That was hilarious!
After a moment I said "Wow, that guy looks a lot like Bruce Campbell. Oh, yeah-- of course he does. It is Bruce Campbell"
Maybe that can be a runner-up to your dumbest thing ever.
You just missed his birthday last week. Good thing he lives in Oregon and we're pals. After all, he did take the time out of his busy schedule to file a restraining order against me.
It's like the old things I saw on Hef or Dino, cool!
Every time this ad comes on I giggle. I love goofy stuff like this.
My dad & I used to watch B.C. in "Adventures of Briscoe County Jr." - what a wacky show. And his cameo in Spiderman 3 was one of the best parts of the movie.
I keep seeing these Old Spice ads on TV. I don't know if i should laugh or cry. Cry because, now that the songs of my adolescence are old enough to be sung in lounge lizard fashion, I'm closer to my "golden years."
Oh I am so confused now.
But what really confuses me is the whole concept of perfume. I'm a marketer's nightmare, I guess.
Yeah, Bruce IS a god! When I saw the last half of that commercial for the first time, I thought, "This must be another Bruce-type, cornball gag." Mind you, I was flipping through channels and happened to stop on Sci-Fi (they like to air a lot of his B-movies). Then I saw the Old Spice can at the end. My mind was blown!
I immediately thought afterwards, "Beth is gonna have kittens!"
if Only!
Ahoy, indeed!

JEREMY: The Chin is a bad ass, isn't he? I love him.
LULU: You are shameless, but at least you understand the Godliness that is Bruce Campbell. Or maybe you just watch more TV than me.
JOHNNY YEN: Believe me, there have been dumber ones. You're safe. (And deleted.)
BLOG PORTLAND: I was visiting French in D.C. two summers ago, and we went to a screening of The Man with Two Brains, with Bruce in attendance (autograph and flirting!). It was his birthday, and that lucky b*tch he calls his wife surprised him with a birthday cake. He said, "Gimme some sugar, baby." It was the best part of the trip.
WRITE PROCRASTINATOR: But cooler, since it's Bruce.
MOXIE: I loved "Brisco County Junior"! He was so hot and smart-ass in that. Keep meaning to get the DVDs ...
BECKEYE: Your, um, adolescence? You may be too young to read this blog.
BARBARA: Perfume is one of my favorite girlie things. I'm seduced by cool bottles.
DAN: You are DA MAN! Thanks for callling me as soon as.
BIG SHOULDERS: Ahoy to you, my friend!
beth--I don't own a televison, I just youtube a lot.
I rarely watch television these days and just recently saw this ad when I was on vacation. I wish it was the whole song.
That is so wonderful. I just saw it for the first time a couple weeks ago; MizBubs had been asking if I'd seen the new Old Spice commercial and I thought she was talking about the one where Bruce walks around his over-the-top manly study.
Thanks for posting that!

Did he have to! :)
LULU: Well, I don't doubt it, doll, with the hundreds of books you knock off every year. But you're missing a new, decent TV show co-starring Bruce!
TENACIOUS S: Welcome back from vaca! I have yet to see this ad on TV; I guess my ADHD keeps me up and moving during commercials.
BUBS: I saw that other Bruce ad on YouTube. He's The Man!
DAN: Um ... huh? Not following you ...
