Watch What Happens

Yes, I know; I’m one slack-ass blogger. You can’t imagine the time it takes to be a Bravo star — but I think we left y’all with a good impression of our fine city and our classy, fashionable Southern belles.

Though I haven’t been e-visible lately, I have been leading an interesting life — and at times it has resembled an episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

Among the highlights:

Still thrilled about the Obama win! Still angry about the Prop 8 win; watch for a post for that in the coming days.

I just bought tix to this to kick off my fiftieth birthday celebration. Any of you New Yorkers up for cocktails in mid-March?

I finally joined Facebook. Addictive — and it’s so great to see you bloggers from the front! Some cute blogging faces out there.

There’s a lovely new romance in my life. I can’t think of anything that’s more rejuvenating than the early stages of a new romance. Toes remain curled, giggles erupt regularly. And that’s all I’ll write about that.

Come back to me. Tales to spin! Secrets to spill! A meme to fulfill!

I'll make time for ya when you're in the Big Apple. I can't wait! I double checked my schedule and so long as I don't have a test in "Aerostructures" the next morning, we'll paint the town red. Even if I do have a test, we're still going out 'cuz I'm sure I'll have senioritis.

Ro-mance? I don't think I'm quite familiar with that phrase. But here's hopin' it works out for you.

I've missed you dear. I was certain that you had run off to follow some band or another around the country, but the new Beau in your life makes much more sense. I hope you are enjoying your new-found giddiness to it's fullest. I must admit that I am looking forward to hearing your tales of high adventure, but please throw in tidbits of romance for us old married folks.

Congrats!
Doc

I'm upset that I don't live in NY anymore. I don't think I'll regret it all that often, but missing your visit will be one of the reasons to.

Well I don't miss you in a sense, because thankfully I see you on Facebook almost every day (when I'm there). I see you've also gone Becky with the Photoshop ; )

Funny, I watched Atlantic Real Housewives while visiting New York City awhile back - and thought of you. Funny, that.

I forgot to say something... drinks are definite before or after the concert but as for you getting around in NYC, do you know how to get to Carnegie Hall?

Also still happy about Obama win, although I find it helps to stay away from news blurbs. Yeah, same on Prop 8. Silliness. Just a random blogger here wandering upon your site via the "Cat Power" in common. I like the style of your blog, I think, and will try to visit again. Cheers.
